Incheon Airport Corporation Opens 'Transportation Vulnerable Service Center'... "Realizing a People-Centered Airport"
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 19th that it has opened two Transportation Vulnerable Service Centers at Incheon Airport Terminal 1, where passengers can use rest areas and various convenience facilities free of charge before boarding their flights.
The Transportation Vulnerable Service Centers are located near gates 25 and 29 in the departure hall of Incheon Airport Terminal 1 and operate from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Anyone aged 65 or older, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and those accompanied by infants and young children can use the facilities free of charge.
At the service centers, users can access exclusive lounges for the transportation vulnerable and electric cart pickup services. Additionally, various existing transportation vulnerable services provided by Incheon Airport, such as wheelchair and stroller rentals and missing child prevention bracelet services, are also available through a one-stop system.
Incheon International Airport Corporation plans to assign volunteer personnel with expertise, including social workers and care welfare workers, to the service centers and provide continuous training to offer diverse and specialized services tailored to the needs of the transportation vulnerable.
