Doosan Infracore will sequentially supply 15,000 G2 engines for small diesel and LPG forklifts from 2023 to 2027. These engines will be installed in forklifts under 3.5 tons produced by Linde China for export to Europe and North America.
Doosan Infracore explained that it competed with global engine manufacturers from Germany, Japan, and other countries in this bidding, and was finally awarded the contract by demonstrating the excellence of its G2 engine, which meets both the European Stage 5 and U.S. Tier 4 Final emission regulations. In particular, the new G2 engine applies the company's patented ULFC technology, increasing power while reducing fuel and engine oil consumption to the lowest level in its class. It also extends the filter replacement cycle up to 1,000 hours and offers various options, enhancing product quality and customer convenience.
Yoo Junho, Vice President of Doosan Infracore Engine BG, said, "Stricter emission regulations are actually a good opportunity to prove our technological capabilities," adding, "We will actively attract major customers based on the best engine technology and secure the small engine market."
