Uridamunhwa Scholarship Foundation Conducts '2021 Economic and Financial Education for Multicultural Families'
Applications accepted until the 23rd of this month... Teaching materials and game-based learning tools provided in four languages
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Woori Financial Group's Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation announced on the 18th that it is recruiting multicultural family support organizations to participate in the '2021 Multicultural Family Economic and Financial Education.'
The economic and financial education for multicultural families provided by the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation is a customized education program for multicultural families that has been conducted annually since 2012 to enhance economic knowledge and support smooth financial life for multicultural families.
In particular, textbooks translated into four languages?English, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese?are provided for marriage immigrants, and educational tools designed in the form of games are used for elementary school multicultural children, allowing multicultural families to easily and enjoyably acquire economic and financial knowledge.
The applicants are welfare institutions targeting multicultural families, such as Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Centers located in the metropolitan area. A total of 15 institutions will be selected to dispatch professional instructors and provide textbooks and educational tools necessary for the classes. Institutions wishing to apply can do so through the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation website by the 23rd of this month.

He added, "As non-face-to-face online education expands due to COVID-19, I hope many welfare institutions utilize the educational content to help the economic independence and growth of multicultural families."
