As outdoor activities increase, the plan is to visit places frequently used by residents to check for any blind spots of danger, inspect specific local issues with the field staff, and create a safer environment.
Accordingly, they visited Geumho-dong Jangteo-gil, a long-standing project requested by residents for 30 years, to check for any inconveniences in passage and confirm overall conditions through on-site inspection. The first section of building demolition was completed this month, and the pedestrian path has been opened first. Once the second section project is completed, the road will be widened to three lanes, and with two-way sidewalks, it will allow safe and convenient passage.
They also visited Eungbong Neighborhood Park (Daehyeonsan) to check for any blind spots of danger. They inspected specific progress on the Daehyeonsan Early Childhood Experience Group, which has been operating since this month targeting 20 daycare centers and kindergartens, and the creation of the Daehyeonsan Rose Special Street in the first half of the year, which will be responsible for residents' psychological quarantine. They exchanged various opinions with the field staff regarding civil complaints and other matters.
Especially during this period of increased outdoor activities, they checked the maintenance areas of the Daehyeonsan walking trails to ensure residents' convenience. They inspected projects closely related to residents' daily lives, such as the forest library to be established this year, the maintenance of old stone retaining walls and tree planting around Eungbongsan 274, and prepared for summer landslides. They also met residents on-site to listen to their opinions.
