"Supporting Local Businesses"... Hana Financial Launches New Program on 'Hana TV'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Financial Group announced on the 13th that it has revamped its official group YouTube channel, 'HanaTV,' with new programs this year. This initiative aims to realize the group's vision of "growing together and sharing happiness through finance" by delivering informative and entertaining video content, while promoting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
Key content includes the alleyway business support project 'Golmokgihang,' which helps small business owners struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic and revitalizes the local economy; 'Geumeunbang' (Financial Subtle Masters' Broadcast), a financial guide for beginners hosted by Hana Financial Group's in-house YouTubers known as HotTubers; and 'Gunggeumhaesseop,' a Korean life story series featuring foreign employees.
In particular, 'Golmokgihang' was planned as an alleyway business support project to assist merchants affected by COVID-19 and to stimulate the local economy. Starting with the 'Dadong area,' near Hana Bank's Euljiro headquarters, the series will consist of a total of four episodes, with various promotional activities designed to create memories and support the alleyway businesses.
Participants who visit the stores introduced in the 'Golmokgihang' videos will be entered into a draw to win a 50,000 KRW meal voucher. Additionally, an event will be held where the first 50 people to upload a certification photo after visiting the featured stores will receive a coffee coupon.
Alongside this, a new entertainment-style donation content called 'Hanaro Mungchyeo' will be aired in cooperation with the Hana Financial sports teams. 'Hanaro Mungchyeo' features ordinary employees in their 30s from Hana Bank who, together with Hana Financial's sports teams (including soccer, basketball, and golf teams), undertake various coaching sessions and unique challenge missions to raise donation funds. These funds will support underprivileged children aspiring to become sports stars, contributing to the group's ESG management.
Moreover, 'HanaTV' plans to conduct a year-round ESG challenge involving the entire nation to promote awareness and behavioral change in protecting the environment in daily life.
