Boseong-gun Completes COVID-19 Vaccination Preparations... Starting from the 15th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Cheol-woo) announced on the 9th that it has established a COVID-19 vaccination center at Boseong Dahyang Gymnasium and conducted a simulation drill on the 7th to check the final preparations.
The simulation drill involved Jeollanam-do, fire station, police station, and military units, and assumed an actual vaccination situation where 30 simulated vaccinees demonstrated the entire process from pre-preparation to monitoring for adverse reactions immediately after vaccination.
The drill included vaccine preparation demonstrations such as thawing and dilution of the Pfizer vaccine, which requires skilled techniques, as well as step-by-step procedures including temperature checks, reservation confirmation, medical questionnaire completion, medical examination, vaccination, and observation for adverse reactions.
In particular, to prepare for the occurrence of adverse reactions after vaccination, an emergency response drill was conducted involving initial emergency treatment and transportation by ambulance to the emergency room, establishing a systematic preparedness posture.
Kim Cheol-woo, Governor of Boseong-gun, personally participated in the drill, thoroughly checked the site and the entire vaccination process, and urged, “Please make every effort in the final preparations so that elderly vaccinees can receive vaccinations comfortably and with kindness.”

A Boseong-gun official stated, “We are making thorough preparations to ensure safe vaccinations,” adding, “Vaccinations for seniors aged 75 and over will begin on the 15th, and vaccinations for the general public will proceed sequentially. We ask for active participation in vaccination with confidence for the recovery of daily life, and until herd immunity is formed, please strictly follow quarantine rules such as wearing masks.”
