SK Inno, Untact Approach from 2021 New Employee Recruitment to Training

Following the changed recruitment trends after COVID-19, SK Innovation proactively introduced the 'Untact' recruitment method starting with the SK Innovation group’s new employee recruitment last year, and has applied this method again this year without fail. Since all processes from the interview stage to new employee training were conducted non-face-to-face last year, this recruitment method proved to be safe and effective.
The Untact recruitment method ensures the safety of job seekers from the COVID-19 virus by allowing them to participate in the recruitment process from their homes. Additionally, recruitment officers can significantly reduce the time and costs required to prepare for offline interviews and new employee training, enabling them to focus more on hiring outstanding candidates.
As the first step of this year’s 'Untact Recruitment,' SK Innovation has been providing an Untact recruitment briefing video through its official YouTube channel since the 5th of this month. In this video, SK Innovation’s recruitment officers provide various helpful information about the recruitment process and corporate culture related to SK Innovation recruitment.
In particular, the video features the character 'SkiNo Junior,' which represents 'job seekers who want to become SK Innovation members,' acting as a 'messenger' who asks recruitment-related questions to SK Innovation’s HR officers, resolving job seekers’ curiosities.
In this recruitment briefing video, 'SkiNo Junior' broadly asks the recruitment officers about topics ranging from the job types in SK Innovation’s eco-friendly core business, the 'electric vehicle battery business,' to horizontal corporate culture-related matters such as SK Innovation’s integrated rank (PM) system. Prior to producing this video, SK Innovation collected recruitment-related questions from job seekers through its official YouTube channel for three days starting from the 29th of last month.
This year’s SK Innovation new employee recruitment announcement is conducted through the SK Group recruitment site (www.SKcareers.com). The recruitment schedule is as follows: ▲Application submission (~4/16) ▲Announcement of document screening results (late April) ▲Written test - offline SKCT (5/9) ▲Announcement of interview candidates (mid to late May) ▲Interview stages - online first and second rounds (June) ▲Announcement of successful candidates (late June) ▲Joining (July). The written test scheduled for May 9 will be conducted offline under strict quarantine rules only for those who passed the document screening, and can be replaced by an online test only for those in self-quarantine or staying overseas.
