Anyone Challenging Public Institution Employment? 2021 Online Regional Talent Joint Recruitment Briefing Held
Online Local Talent Recruitment Fair Website Opens on the 8th
11 Public Institutions Relocated to Busan Innovation City Participate, Until May 27
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan City will hold the '2021 Online Regional Talent Joint Recruitment Fair' for 7 weeks from the 8th to May 26th.
Hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the National Balanced Development Committee, and co-organized by 14 metropolitan local governments, this fair will be held online again this year to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure citizens' safety, just like last year.
The recruitment fair will include 101 public institutions from 14 cities and provinces nationwide, including 11 public institutions in Busan Innovation City.
▲ Explanation of the Innovation City Regional Talent System ▲ Provision of public institution employment information (including videos) ▲ Employment senior vlogs (VLOGs) and other diverse programs will provide customized information to regional talents.
Busan Innovation City showed a performance exceeding the national average of 28.6% for 10 innovation cities, with a regional talent recruitment rate of 33.9% in 2020.
It contributes to the local community through various regional talent development projects such as linkage with regionally specialized industries like marine, finance, and film and video, active research and cooperation with universities, and open campuses.
Unlike last year, when many recruitment schedules were delayed due to the spread of COVID-19, this year, public institutions that relocated, such as Korea Asset Management Corporation (recruiting 78 youth interns for recruitment-type positions) which started recruitment from March, Korea Housing Finance Corporation, and Korea Technology Finance Corporation (each recruiting around 70 people), plan to proceed with regional talent recruitment without disruption.
Kim Yoon-il, Director of the Job Economy Office of Busan City, said, “Each public institution relocated to Busan is a treasure of Busan,” and added, “We will collaborate with relocated public institutions to increase the recruitment of excellent local talents.”
Those who wish to participate can apply on the recruitment fair website, and the event is managed by the Service Finance Division of Busan City.
