KAMCO Launches 'Gongmae Academy' Offering Free Public Auction Courses
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) announced on the 7th that it will hold an ‘Online Auction Academy.’
This academy consists of ▲ Introduction to Onbid and how to use it ▲ Major Q&A ▲ Onbid usage tips. It is divided into a Basic course (PC use) and a Smart course (mobile use).
It is scheduled to be held every Friday from the 9th until the end of the year and can be accessed through the video streaming platform KakaoTV. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via the Onbid website and app.
KAMCO Onbid has been offering free auction lectures through the academy since 2016. Since last year, due to the spread of COVID-19, it has been conducted via online streaming.

Namgung Young, Head of KAMCO’s Public Development Division, said, “We established the ‘Smart course’ to help understand mobile bidding,” adding, “We will continue to expand communication channels to share knowledge and information with more people.”
