According to the weekly women's golf world rankings announced on the morning of the 6th (Korean time), she jumped 90 places from 103rd last week. She accumulated points by winning the first major of the 2021 LPGA Tour season, the ANA Inspiration (total prize money $3.1 million), held the previous day at Mission Hills Golf Club in Rancho Mirage, California (par 72, 6,763 yards), with a 2-stroke victory (18-under 270).
