Aero K to Operate First Regular Flight on Cheongju~Jeju Route Starting Next Month on the 15th
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Aero K announced on the 6th that it will begin its first regular flight service on the 15th of next month.
The first regular flight will operate on the Cheongju~Jeju route, using a 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft that Aero K introduced in February last year. Aero K's first aircraft will depart from Cheongju Airport at 7:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and 7:00 PM, and from Jeju at 10:05 AM, 2:05 PM, and 9:00 PM, operating a total of three round trips per day.
Advance reservations for the Cheongju~Jeju route began the day before through TMON, and from the 9th, reservations will also be available via Aero K's official website and call center.
To commemorate this official launch, the company plans to hold a special discount event for flights until June 30. Additionally, a discount policy for residents of Chungbuk Province has been announced for the Cheongju~Jeju route. Starting July 1, a 15% discount based on the published fare will be applied for Chungbuk residents and university students in the Chungcheong region.
Aero K, positioning itself as an ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC), has set its published fares up to 28% cheaper than full-service carriers (FSC) and up to 15% cheaper than existing low-cost carriers (LCC) such as Jin Air and Jeju Air. Even excluding the promotional fares valid until June 30, regular passengers can use flights at a discount of more than 10% at all times, and local residents and university students in Daejeon and the Chungcheong region can enjoy fares up to 30% cheaper than other airlines.
