Active Participation in Eco-Friendly Resource Circulation Policies to Create the Environmental Special City Incheon
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Bank announced on the 6th that it has signed a business agreement with Incheon Metropolitan City to participate in eco-friendly resource circulation policies aimed at creating an environmentally special city, Incheon.
Shinhan Bank, which has been serving as the city treasury bank of Incheon Metropolitan City since 2007, deeply sympathizes with Incheon’s eco-friendly policies and signed this business agreement to faithfully fulfill its role as the representative local bank.
Through this agreement, Shinhan Bank will actively participate in the three no activities currently implemented by Incheon City, including eliminating disposable products, resource waste, and food waste, while also promoting ▲replacement of business vehicles at branches located in Incheon City with electric vehicles ▲activation of paperless wooden passbooks ▲promotion of Incheon City’s eco-friendly resource circulation policies ▲hosting contests for excellent eco-friendly cases.
On the day of the agreement signing, Jin Ok-dong, the bank president, took the first step in joining Incheon City’s eco-friendly policies by presenting mugs engraved with the “Environmentally Special City Incheon” logo and mascot to Park Nam-chun, Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, and city hall officials.
