Kiehl's Launches Online Empty Bottle Collection Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Kiehl's announced on the 5th that it will launch an 'Online Bottle Pickup Service' that comes to customers' homes.
As part of its 'Future Made Better' campaign, which aims to minimize environmental impact, protect nature, and support local communities, Kiehl's has been continuously operating a bottle collection program.
When customers return used Kiehl's bottles, they are processed and 100% recycled to reduce environmental burden. Additionally, customers who return bottles are encouraged to participate in the recycling program by receiving genuine product gifts based on the number of bottles returned. Over the past year alone, a total of 7.3 tons of Kiehl's bottles were collected domestically, all of which were recycled and used as new resources.
Especially this year, to make participation easier for customers, Kiehl's newly launched the 'Online Bottle Pickup Service,' allowing bottles to be returned in a non-face-to-face format. Reflecting the contactless era that has become part of daily life, this service picks up bottles directly from customers' homes, enabling consumers to return bottles more safely and conveniently and join in environmental protection efforts.
