WEMAKEPRICE, First Live Commerce for Small Business Owners Today... Combined with 'Showhost Competition'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Wemakeprice is launching a live commerce showhost discovery project.
Wemakeprice announced that it will start broadcasting Season 1 of the win-win project "WE MAKE LIVE" on the 5th, simultaneously supporting aspiring showhosts and small business owners in developing online sales channels. WE MAKE LIVE provides aspiring showhosts with opportunities to be active while supporting the sales growth of small business owners.
The broadcast will be conducted in the form of a competition among aspiring showhosts. In Season 1, three male aspiring showhosts (Choi Seung-hyun, Lee Dong-jun, Noh Sung-min) will each appear three times on the broadcast alongside current home shopping professional showhost Park Ji-young to introduce products from small business owners.
The final winner of the competition will debut as the sole official showhost in the last 10th episode of Season 1. The winner will also receive opportunities to appear in future live commerce broadcasts hosted by Wemakeprice and a prize of 1 million KRW. The winner will be selected based on a combined evaluation of expert assessments, the highest concurrent viewers during the broadcast, and sales figures.
WE MAKE LIVE will start its first broadcast at 6 PM on the 5th and will be held twice a week (Monday and Wednesday at 6 PM, except April 12) for a total of 10 episodes. It can be viewed on the Wemakeprice app and web page. Detailed information about the products for sale and the participating aspiring showhosts can be checked in advance on the special exhibition page within the Wemakeprice site.
The main products sold in Season 1 include ▲Butora hiking shoes ▲Obada Food Factory semi-dried squid ▲Welldon Food Korea Neungi Samgyetang ▲Taesan R&D seaweed snack ▲Haejin Food cockles ▲Jihan FC gopchang hot pot ▲Foodgosu Yeosu gat kimchi, among others.
