[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Financial Security Institute announced on the 1st that it will implement a 'MyData Testbed' in the financial sector ahead of the full-scale launch of the MyData business.
The MyData Testbed is a project that supports an environment where businesses can easily develop MyData systems and flexibly test whether they have been developed according to standards.
An API is a predefined rule that allows one program to access the functions or data of another program. In the MyData Testbed, development specifications for each standard API are provided and managed. Businesses wishing to develop APIs can conveniently find and use the standard API specifications.
In preparation for cases where the scope of MyData information provision expands and API specifications need to be changed, the testbed also supports the management of the latest specifications.
When developing API services according to the specifications, it is also possible to test whether they operate smoothly. Customized tests using proprietary data, rather than the default data provided, are also possible.
Additionally, functionality conformity assessments and vulnerability checks can be conducted. MyData businesses can apply for and manage necessary functionality conformity assessments and security vulnerability checks through the MyData Testbed.
The Financial Security Institute plans to hold a testbed usage briefing session for financial companies and MyData businesses on the 6th.
