Galaxy S21 FE to Launch in at Least 5 Colors... Camera Specs Also Enhanced
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Cho] The smartphone 'Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) 5G,' scheduled for release in the second half of the year, is expected to be launched in at least five colors.
According to IT media PhoneArena on the 29th (local time), Samsung Electronics has added Light Green to the color options for the Galaxy S21 FE. In addition to the previously known Pink, White, Violet, and Gray·Silver colors, Light Green will also be introduced, making it available in at least five options. PhoneArena reported, "Samsung seems to be making the Galaxy S21 FE as colorful as possible."
Additionally, the Galaxy S21 FE is known to be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie sensor, reflecting the preferences of consumers who prioritize camera specifications.
The Galaxy S21 FE is attracting attention as a strategic smartphone to replace Samsung Electronics' Note series, alongside the foldable lineup in the second half of this year.
According to the new product release schedule revealed by IT tipster Evan Blass, an FE unpacking event is expected to be held on August 19th instead of the Galaxy Note. This is about a month earlier than the end of September last year when the Galaxy S20 FE was introduced. Samsung Electronics also confirmed that although it has unveiled new Galaxy Notes at the August unpacking events in the past, it may be difficult to release one this year.

The FE, a limited edition model introduced by Samsung Electronics for Galaxy fans, was largely about recycling parts from the discontinued Galaxy Note7 when it first appeared in 2017. However, last year, which was hit hard by COVID-19, it is evaluated that Samsung succeeded in compensating for the poor performance of the Galaxy S20 by emphasizing 'cost-effectiveness' with the FE.
