Earlier, KBS reported on the 26th and 28th that Oh had directly participated in the surveying of the Naegok-dong land on June 13, 2005, and nine days later, the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH) signed a contract for survey design services. The report also stated that in March 2006, the 'Lee Myung-bak Seoul City' administration began actively promoting the development of the Naegok district, which included this land.
In response, Kim Tae-nyeon, acting leader of the Democratic Party and floor leader, said at the highest council meeting on the 28th, "The pieces of the truth are coming together. How long will candidate Oh continue to deceive the citizens of Seoul by covering lies with more lies and feigning ignorance?" He urged, "We officially demand that candidate Oh resign from his candidacy."
He added, "The Naegok-dong land allegations are at a point where one cannot cover the sky with the palm of their hand," emphasizing, "We cannot allow the repetition of the case of MB (Lee Myung-bak), who deceived the public with lies and caused great harm to the nation after becoming president."
Regarding Oh's camp's explanation that it was his brother-in-law who attended the land survey, Kim pointed out, "Looking at the photo of the brother-in-law, who is a university professor, his facial features and physique are completely different from Oh's," and said, "Oh was a well-known public figure at the time, actively involved in broadcasting and serving as a member of the National Assembly, so it is highly unlikely that someone else was mistaken for him."

Assemblyman Hong Young-pyo shared the Naegok-dong allegations report on his Facebook, criticizing, "The end of Oh Se-hoon's 'web of lies' is in sight," and said, "A public official's lies are harmful to society. Those who belittle the people will never work for them." Assemblyman Jung Chung-rae also raised his voice, saying, "Didn't he claim he didn't know about the existence and location of the land? At this point, resignation is inevitable."
Meanwhile, Oh denied the KBS report as malicious false reporting and announced plans to file a complaint with the Supreme Prosecutors' Office for false information dissemination and other charges.
Park Sung-joong, co-chairman of Oh's campaign and a People Power Party assemblyman, held a press conference at the National Assembly on the 28th, stating, "According to surveying laws, only the landowner can request or attend a survey," and argued, "The KBS report specified that 'the father-in-law and Oh Se-hoon' were present at the site, but neither of these two are landowners."
He continued, "Although the survey was requested and attended by Oh's eldest brother-in-law, Professor Song, and other in-laws, the report conclusively stated that 'someone wearing sunglasses was there, and that person was Oh Se-hoon,'" adding, "If a forced investigation confirms the attendance information from the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, the falsehood will be proven."

Regarding why Oh's in-laws conducted the survey of the Naegok-dong land, he explained, "We heard that someone was illegally cultivating the land, which had been virtually neglected, so we wanted to check its condition," and refuted, "In cases of large-scale development, the state or SH Corporation usually conducts the survey, so if they had prior knowledge of development plans, there would be no reason to conduct an individual survey at their own expense."
