Including Vaccine Appointment Alerts: "Providing All Personalized Information"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, announced on the 29th that it has launched the ‘National Secretary’ service in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, allowing citizens to check administrative information tailored to their personal situations through the Toss application (app).
From now on, users can conveniently receive administrative information such as COVID-19 vaccination notifications and traffic fines on Toss. Furthermore, the service provides a one-stop solution to immediately pay traffic fines and penalties after checking the information.
Users who check fine notifications in the ‘My Documents’ section within the Toss app can instantly pay fines via simple remittance using Toss. Without the hassle of opening other financial apps after receiving the notification, users can confirm the amount and complete payment within Toss in just 3 seconds by entering a password or using biometric authentication. There is no remittance fee.
Additionally, vaccination notifications for those aged 75 and older, starting from the 1st of next month, can also be received through Toss. Those aged 75 and above can select Toss as their notification channel when making vaccination reservations. Currently, vaccination notification applications via Toss are only available offline at administrative welfare centers.
Toss plans to offer various services for more convenient use in the future, such as guidance to the nearest vaccination centers based on user location and vaccination statistics. It is also preparing to provide diverse information including FAQs related to vaccination and post-vaccination care methods.
