Yangsan City Cancels 'Canola Flower Festival' Again This Year... Scenic Area Preserved

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City in Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that it will cancel the Canola Flower Festival this year as well, following last year, in consideration of the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Yangsan Canola Flower Scenic Area is about 16 hectares developed along the banks of the Yangsancheon Stream and Hwangsan Park. Although the festival event is canceled, the canola flower area will be preserved for visitors to enjoy.
In addition, signboards and staff will be placed along the Yangsancheon Stream and Hwangsan Park to guide visitors on social distancing.

A Yangsan City official said, "It is unfortunate that the festival has been canceled for two consecutive years due to the spread of COVID-19," and added, "We hope to meet at the festival next year without masks."
