SKT "Taekwondo Trotman Nataju, Summoned Before My Eyes with AR"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] SK Telecom announced on the 25th that it will provide customers with free access to augmented reality (AR) content featuring popular trot singer Nataejoo through its ‘Jump AR’ application.
Customers who install the Jump AR app can meet 17 different AR-implemented Nataejoo characters regardless of their mobile carrier. It is also possible to take photos and videos with AR Nataejoo to keep or share with others.
To commemorate the launch of the service, SK Telecom is holding an event where customers who upload photos taken with AR Nataejoo on their own SNS accounts through the Jump AR app will be entered into a draw to win Nataejoo’s autographed CD and Starbucks coffee gifticons.
SK Telecom utilized volumetric video capture technology at its mixed reality content studio ‘Jump Studio’ to create a realistic and diverse motion AR Nataejoo character.
