The health insurance product Taepyeong Samdae has newly established the industry's first "Emergency Medical Anaphylaxis Diagnosis Benefit." Anaphylaxis refers to a rapidly progressing allergic reaction caused by external stimuli such as food or vaccine administration.
This coverage pays 2 million KRW once per year if diagnosed with anaphylaxis upon visiting the emergency room. It is currently under review after applying for exclusive use rights from the General Insurance Association.
Additionally, a new "Daily Caregiver Usage Benefit for Injury and Illness" has been created, which pays a fixed daily amount when using caregiving services at general hospitals, nursing hospitals, or integrated nursing care wards.
The "Two Major Benign Tumor Diagnosis Benefit" was also newly introduced. It provides 10 million KRW once upon the first diagnosis of benign tumors in the brain or heart, with only 50% payable within the first year of subscription.
The driver insurance product "Safe Driving Partner" has also expanded its coverage. For the first time in the industry, it introduced four types of vehicle damage coverages: depreciation loss from car-to-car accidents, vehicle glass replacement costs, undercoating repair costs for flood-damaged vehicles, and vehicle purchase support after total loss of flood-damaged vehicles.
The "Work-Related Negligent Death or Injury Lawyer Fee" coverage, which obtained exclusive use rights last December, has also increased the subscription limit up to 20 million KRW.
