Jungjingong Creates Youth Jobs with 58 New Hires in the First Half of the Year
Online Job Application Submission Until the 8th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 25th that it will create 58 new jobs through an open competitive recruitment of new employees in the first half of 2021.
Applications can be submitted through the SBC website from the 30th of this month until the 8th of next month. After document screening, written tests (NCS basic evaluation, personality test, major multiple-choice, current affairs essay), and interview stages (first and second rounds), the final successful candidates will be selected in June.
For general positions, 29 administrative staff will be hired in fields such as general administration, corporate evaluation, policy research, bond management, investment operation, overseas business, and accounting settlement, and 14 technical staff in the innovation growth sector. Additionally, 15 support staff (indefinite contract positions) will be hired by region and project.
This open competitive recruitment for new employees in the first half of the year will be conducted through a blind recruitment method based on the National Competency Standards. SBC plans to realize social value through open recruitment without restrictions on age, education, or background, and socially equitable recruitment that considers socially vulnerable groups such as persons with disabilities. It will actively respond to the government's regional balanced New Deal and youth job creation policies by expanding the hiring of local talent.
Chairman Kim Hak-do stated, "Despite the COVID-19 outbreak crisis in the second half of last year, SBC took the lead in alleviating youth employment difficulties by hiring 55 new employees," adding, "Although the COVID-19 situation is prolonged, we will actively take the lead in creating new jobs and fulfill the social responsibilities and roles of public institutions."

Meanwhile, applicants participating in the written tests and interviews for this recruitment must wear masks mandatorily, as was the case last year, and strictly comply with quarantine rules such as filling out health questionnaires and temperature checks before entering the venue. Also, as part of social distancing measures, a distance of at least 2 meters will be maintained between test-takers in the examination rooms, and separate waiting rooms will be operated for managing symptomatic individuals.
