[Public Officials' Assets] Among Heads of Institutions under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Lee Young-min, CEO of Korea Venture Investment, Ranks First in Assets
Government Official Ethics Committee Publishes '2021 Regular Asset Change Report of Public Officials' in Official Gazette
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Among the heads of institutions under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the highest total assets were reported by Lee Young-min, CEO of Korea Venture Investment. According to the '2021 Regular Asset Change Report of Public Officials' published in the government gazette by the Public Service Ethics Committee on the 25th, Lee Young-min, CEO of Korea Venture Investment under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, declared assets worth 4,277,250,000 KRW. This is an increase of 256,680,000 KRW compared to the 4,020,570,000 KRW reported the previous year. The increase was due to changes in publicly announced prices, savings, and fund valuation increases.
Lee Jae-il, Director of Daegu Creative Economy Innovation Center, reported assets of 3,522,950,000 KRW, an increase of 116,220,000 KRW from the previous year's report. Following him, Kim Soon-cheol, Secretary General of the Foundation for Cooperation between Large, Small, and Medium Enterprises and Agriculture and Fisheries, declared 2,770,340,000 KRW, which is 295,450,000 KRW more than the previous year's 2,474,890,000 KRW.
Jung Yoon-mo, Chairman of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, reported assets totaling 2,144,170,000 KRW, an increase of 147,590,000 KRW compared to the 1,996,580,000 KRW declared the previous year. Jung Jin-soo, CEO of the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center, followed with 2,081,210,000 KRW, which is 65,770,000 KRW higher than the previous year's report.

Kim Byung-geun, Chairman of the Korea Credit Guarantee Foundation, reported total assets of 1,420,400,000 KRW, a decrease of 97,930,000 KRW compared to the previous year. Kim Hak-do, Chairman of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, declared assets worth 1,260,890,000 KRW, an increase of 196,010,000 KRW from the 1,064,880,000 KRW reported last year. Most of the increase was due to changes in publicly announced prices. Jo Bong-hwan, Chairman of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, reported assets of 1,134,840,000 KRW, an increase of 49,570,000 KRW compared to the 1,085,260,000 KRW declared last year.
