[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] On the 22nd, the Public Procurement Service announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to mutually cooperate in strengthening support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups. The MOU focuses on ▲supporting the growth of innovative SMEs through innovative procurement ▲cooperation on competition systems among SMEs and win-win cooperation systems between large and small-medium enterprises ▲supporting excellent SMEs' entry into overseas procurement markets and innovative companies' entry into overseas markets ▲strengthening cooperation between the two agencies through joint production of public procurement statistics to support related policy formulation.
