Fair Trade Commission Announces Contest for New Name to Replace 'Haengbok Dream'
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] The Fair Trade Commission is planning to change the name of the 'Happy Dream Open Consumer Portal,' which provides customized information needed at every stage of consumer life and supports damage relief. This is in response to criticism that awareness remains low despite nearly three years since the service started.
On the 22nd, the Fair Trade Commission announced that it will hold a 'naming contest' for Happy Dream.
An official from the Fair Trade Commission said, "Happy Dream is not easily recognized as a consumer portal, and despite continuous promotion for three years, public awareness remains low. We expect that by having consumers directly name the portal representing consumers, its symbolism can be enhanced."
