GIST, Pre-Startup Package Participating Companies Attend '2021 International Artificial Intelligence Expo'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwanwoo] The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, GIST) Startup Promotion Center announced on the 22nd that three companies participating in the specialized field (AI) of the Preliminary Startup Package Support Project will participate in the '2021 International Artificial Intelligence Expo (AI EXPO KOREA 2021)' held at COEX Hall B, Gangnam-gu, Seoul from the 24th to the 26th.
The 'AI EXPO Support Program,' a specialized program for revitalizing startups at GIST, provides an opportunity to participate in the '2021 AI EXPO KOREA' for companies with excellent results selected through an evaluation process, aiming to increase sales and expand into overseas markets by promoting startup companies and their presence within the industry.
The participating companies in this event are ▲ DeepFarm Co., Ltd., which provides a contactless ruminant behavior recognition and analysis solution service using AI CCTV ▲ OneClick AI, which offers an easy and simple machine learning program service to improve AI utilization capabilities ▲ DearPlant, which provides the AI-based smart companion plant service 'Pleety.' These companies are expected to become a networking platform for sharing information in the AI industry leading innovation in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution both domestically and internationally.
Jo Byung-kwan, head of the GIST Startup Promotion Center, said, "Following last year, we are supporting specialized programs for startups with excellent results through the Preliminary Startup Package Support Project," adding, "In our society where AI is actively involved in all industrial fields recently, we will support various programs and education for startups to create market competitiveness and opportunities."
