View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] On the 19th, KT opened the ‘KT Cloud Open Space’ at the Pangyo ‘Startup Zone’ operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. KT plans to make this place a collaborative space for startups based on KT cloud technology.
Last year, KT formed the industry-academia-research council ‘Cloud One Team’ to strengthen domestic cloud competitiveness and is leading the expansion of the native cloud ecosystem. The Startup Zone, located at the Corporate Support Hub in Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, is the largest startup support cluster in Korea. It is equipped with shared resources and spaces for technical collaboration, including exchanges with resident companies, making it the optimal place to cooperate with startups.

View original imageThrough the newly opened Cloud Open Space, KT will carry out win-win activities such as KT cloud technology education for startups, KT cloud-based consulting and technical support, and consulting. Additionally, KT plans to provide opportunities for commercialization as well as new partnerships with KT Cloud through project contests.
The KT Cloud Open Space is equipped with a consulting room for KT cloud technology education and startup win-win programs, a demonstration and demo room, and a test lab. KT also provides guidance on KT cloud services and immediate technical support requests with resident staff and partner companies. Furthermore, if new commercialization or research and development (R&D) collaboration is needed, KT connects startups with KT cloud technology and business expert groups for cooperation.
