Jeonnam Fire Department Produces Excellent Instructors for the Second Consecutive Year Following Last Year
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Song Yoomyung, Fire Chief of Naju Fire Station, participated as a representative of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters in the '7th National Fire Safety Instructor Competition' and won 2nd place nationwide.
According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) on the 19th, Fire Chief Song gave a presentation under the theme "Always Stop, Look, and Cross on the Road," winning the Excellence Award, the Fire Agency Chief's Award.
He received high praise for explaining safety rules in an easy and fun way according to the types of accidents that can occur on the road for children.
In particular, he was highly evaluated for conducting lectures tailored to children's perspectives by using teaching materials such as a traffic safety sticker book featuring fire safety characters and creating an easy-to-follow safety number song.
Jeonnam Fire Headquarters produced the best fire safety instructor again this year, following the 2nd place nationwide in the 6th Fire Safety Instructor Competition last year.
Fire Chief Song said, "I am grateful to those who gave me much help and advice for the competition," and added, "As a fire safety instructor, I will strive harder to establish a proper fire safety culture."
Chief Ma Jaeyoon of the Fire Headquarters stated, "Through the competition every year, we will discover and nurture professional fire safety education instructors to provide better fire safety education to residents and create a safer Jeonnam."
Meanwhile, the Fire Safety Instructor Competition, now in its 7th year, is held annually under the supervision of the Fire Agency to standardize safety education and discover and nurture excellent fire safety instructors and teaching capabilities.
