View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Shinhan Life Insurance announced on the 18th that it signed a business partnership agreement (MOU) with Lunit, a medical artificial intelligence company, at Shinhan Life Insurance's headquarters located in Jung-gu, Seoul, to promote digital healthcare business.
Founded in 2013, Lunit is recognized as a leading company in the field of artificial intelligence diagnostic solutions for lung cancer and breast cancer.
The two companies plan to cooperate mutually to promote digital healthcare business based on artificial intelligence diagnostic solutions. As the first step, they decided to introduce AI diagnostic solutions for Shinhan Life Insurance employees.
During health checkups for Shinhan Life Insurance employees, they will be able to receive AI diagnostics from Lunit along with medical staff's diagnosis. This year, for breast cancer screening subjects, AI reports will provide ▲abnormal area indication ▲possibility of breast cancer ▲breast density ▲interpretation methods of results.
