The Meeting of Tous Les Jours and Kyochon... CJ Foodville "We Will Lead the Croquette Craze"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Tous Les Jours, a bakery operated by CJ Foodville, announced on the 18th that it will release new products such as croquettes through a unique collaboration with Kyochon Chicken.
The new products that Tous Les Jours is launching together with Kyochon include 'Kyochon Original Croquette,' 'Kyochon Red Croquette,' 'Kyochon 愛 Soy Sauce Chicken Roll,' 'Red Salsal Chicken Duck,' and 'Chicken Crispy Salad.'
The core products, ‘Kyochon Original Croquette’ and ‘Kyochon Red Croquette,’ capture the flavors of Kyochon Chicken’s representative Kyochon Series and Red Series in croquette form. At an internal tasting event at Tous Les Jours, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many saying it felt like eating a whole chicken, earning excellent taste scores.
Tous Les Jours explained that the secret sauces from Kyochon Chicken’s signature Kyochon Series and Red Series, the chicken generously filled inside the croquettes, and the crispy rice flour topping create a perfect harmony, making them ideal as a meal replacement. The Tous Les Jours Kyochon Croquettes are available as a ‘Kyochon Half & Half Croquette Set,’ which includes two of each, and can be purchased at Tous Les Jours stores and delivery platforms.
Additionally, the ‘Red Salsal Chicken Duck’ is a sandwich-style product with chicken and red sauce generously filled inside bread baked crispy with rice flour topping. The ‘Kyochon 愛 Soy Sauce Chicken Roll’ is a tortilla rolled with chicken, cheese, and original sauce, then baked crispy. The ‘Chicken Crispy Salad’ combines fresh vegetables with chicken.
To celebrate the launch, the event ‘Try Croquettes Like This!’ will also be held. Comedian Kim Jae-woo, popular on social media as the Curry Couple, will start by posting a Mukbang challenge video on Tous Les Jours’ Instagram on the 19th. Consumers can participate by filming videos showing various ways to enjoy Kyochon Croquettes. The event entry period runs until the 28th, and prizes including 1 million KRW in cash will be awarded to the first-place winner by lottery.
