Jeongeup-si Creates 'Jeongeupsa Park Leisure Sports Forest Trail'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 17th that it will create the Jeongeupsa Park Leports Forest Trail, linking Jeongeupsa Park and Ayangsa Love Forest, which are healing spaces for citizens.
In accordance with the implementation of the Urban Park Sunset Policy, the city completed the purchase of 129 hectares of urban park areas from 2018 to 2020 with a budget of 30 billion won.
Among them, the Jeongeupsa Park (Ayangsan) area has completed the purchase of 86 hectares out of a total area of 115 hectares, securing 93% including the existing 22 hectares of city-owned land.
The Jeongeupsa Park Leports Forest Trail project is a project to create a 3.8 km long forest trail connecting Sigidong, Chosandong, and Sinwoldong using the purchased land.
A total project cost of 1.5 billion won will be invested, and it is planned to be completed by December.
