Ministry of Foreign Affairs Participates in OECD Global Strategy Group Meeting... Introduces Green New Deal
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Lee Seong-ho, Director-General for Economic Diplomacy Coordination at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the 'OECD Global Strategy Group' (GSG) meeting held via video conference on the evening of the 16th.
The GSG evolved from the OECD Special Executive Board and is a major consultative body where high-level representatives from member countries gather to decide the future policy directions of the OECD.

At this meeting, presentations and discussions were held on the preparation and implementation plans for the 'New Vision Declaration' and the 'Green Recovery Plan' in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the OECD's founding. The Director-General introduced Korea's Green New Deal, part of the Korean New Deal policy, under the theme of the 'Green Recovery Plan.'
