View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is accelerating efforts by holding a report meeting to ensure the prompt execution of local finances and discussing countermeasures.
On the 15th, the county held the '2021 Local Finance Prompt Execution Report Meeting' in the main conference room of the county office, attended by County Governor Lee Jae-geun and heads of each department along with responsible officials, to review the financial execution status for the first half of the year.
This report meeting was organized to encourage the activation of the local economy and the financial execution status of projects that have been sluggish in progress.
Each department reviewed the overall execution status of underperforming projects with an execution rate below 10% and large-scale investment projects, listened to issues and difficulties encountered during the promotion process, and discussed solutions.
In particular, they focused on exchanging opinions on ways to promptly execute budgets in the job creation sector and the living SOC project sector, which directly affect the livelihood economy.
Through this report meeting, the county plans to fully execute the 171.9 billion KRW budget target for prompt execution in the first half of the year. This corresponds to 60% of the total prompt execution target amount of 311.9 billion KRW for the entire year.

Governor Lee said, “Prompt execution is essential for stabilizing the livelihood economy and revitalizing the local economy, which has been depressed due to COVID-19,” and emphasized, “Under the responsibility of each department head, please devote all efforts to raising the prompt execution rate to achieve practical effects.”
