Gwangju University Department of Nursing Recruiting Trainees for 'Happy i Mom Healthy Nurse' Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Department of Nursing at Gwangju University announced on the 15th that it is recruiting trainees for the ‘Happy I Mom Health Nurse’ program.
The recruitment target is holders of nurse and midwife licenses, and applicants can download the application form from the Gwangju University website and submit it via email from the 17th to the 26th.
The ‘Happy I Mom Health Nurse’ training program will be conducted for 6 hours a day, 30 hours a week, from the 29th of this month to the 23rd of next month, and the training fee is free.
Upon completion of this training, participants will carry out the Gwangju-type postpartum care public service project supported from May.
The Gwangju-type postpartum care public service project is a home visit service for health management of mothers and newborns within 90 days after childbirth residing in Gwangju City. It supports breastfeeding massage, postpartum massage, emotional support, parent education, and provides newborn sleep management and health massage.
Jang Mi-young, head of the Department of Nursing at Gwangju University, said, “Gwangju University, which has established itself as a center for nurturing nursing personnel in the region, will faithfully carry out the Gwangju-type postpartum care public service project through a systematic education program.”
