According to Gwangju City on the 13th, as of 6 p.m. that day, one person was confirmed positive and classified as Gwangju case number 2174.
Gwangju case 2174 is related to Jeonbuk case number 1121 and developed symptoms while in self-quarantine.
Gwangju has recorded single-digit daily COVID-19 cases for four consecutive days.
There was 1 case on the 9th, 1 case on the 10th, 2 cases on the 11th, and 3 cases on the 12th.
Among the total 2,174 confirmed cases in the region, 2,039 are local infections and 153 are imported cases.
