A Man in His 50s Claiming to Be a University Professor Caught by Police for Trespassing in Women's College
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 50s who introduced himself as a university professor and trespassed on the campus of a women's university in Seoul was caught by the police.
Seongdong Police Station in Seoul announced on the 12th that they have booked and are investigating Mr. A on charges of trespassing.
Mr. A is suspected of unlawfully entering the main building of Hanyang Women's University located in Seongdong-gu the day before. He also made unwanted physical contact, such as high-fiving students.
Mr. A reportedly claimed to the school that he was a professor at a university and came to observe classes. However, verification revealed that Mr. A's name was not on the list of professors at the university.
