Kookmin Bank Opens AI Experience Zone for Future Finance
"AI Banker Explains Financial Services"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced that it will open an AI Experience Zone integrating financial services and artificial intelligence (AI) technology at the Yeouido New Building on the 15th.
The AI Experience Zone is a space where visitors can experience AI financial services, featuring two kiosks showcasing KB Kookmin Bank's AI technology.
At the first kiosk, visitors can experience an AI virtual consultation service featuring an avatar. The avatar provides ▲ an introduction to the KB New Office Building and KB Kookmin Bank’s AI direction ▲ guidance on the financial terminology learning model (KB-ALBERT) ▲ and a function that reads sentences typed on the keyboard in a cute voice.
At the second kiosk, visitors can also meet an AI banker capable of consulting on banking tasks such as account opening, subscription, savings and deposits, Individual Retirement Pension accounts (IRP), and loans. The AI banker service applies voice synthesis, video synthesis, speech recognition, and natural language processing technologies to provide consultations with the quality of an actual banker.
Meanwhile, at the entrance of the AI Experience Zone, visitors can watch an introduction screen for the ‘Future Finance AI Challenge,’ which KB Kookmin Bank has been hosting annually since 2019. The Future Finance AI Challenge is an AI competition aimed at securing future financial ideas and increasing interest in the financial sector among university students and job seekers.
A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, “We will continue to expand experience services to branches and mobile platforms so that customers can experience various KB Kookmin Bank AI technologies, thereby enhancing financial consumers’ convenience.”
