Pearl Abyss' Black Desert, No.1 MMORPG Sales on Steam in North America and Europe
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Pearl Abyss announced on the 10th that 'Black Desert' ranked number 1 in popularity in the MMORPG genre in North America and Europe on the global game service platform Steam.
Pearl Abyss explained, "The direct service launch of Black Desert in North America and Europe on the 24th of last month, combined with a large-scale promotion, boosted Steam sales and popularity," adding, "On the 3rd, we also held a global online meeting for North American and European users, and the game is receiving great popularity due to communication with local users and high-quality gameplay."
Black Desert currently maintains a high ranking on major overseas gaming sites as well. On the game ranking site 'MMO Populations,' it holds 5th place worldwide in 'most played MMORPGs,' and it was also selected as the number 1 'most played MMORPG earlier this year' by Turkey's largest online game store, ‘Oyunfor.’
