According to Chinese media including Global Times on the 10th, the "Trump Buddha statue," which combines the face of former President Trump with the body of Buddha, is gaining popularity on the online shopping mall Taobao. The statue depicts former President Trump with his hands resting on his knees and a contemplative expression on his face.
Chinese media reported that the Trump Buddha statue is being sold under the title "Make Your Company Great Again." This appears to mock Trump’s slogan "Make America Great Again."
Chinese media also stated that former President Trump is regarded as a representative figure of an era and an extreme egoist, and the Trump Buddha statue symbolizes what should not be done like Trump. They added that most Chinese people purchase the Trump Buddha statue for fun.

The online selling price of the Trump Buddha statue ranges from 999 yuan (approximately 170,000 KRW) to 3,999 yuan, and it is being sold in a limited quantity of 100 units, Chinese media added.
