Biden's 'First Dog' Bites Person, Gets 'Out' of White House
Previously Also Caused Biden's Ankle Fracture
[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] U.S. President Joe Biden's pet dog 'Major' has been expelled from the White House after biting a person. Major had captured the attention of Americans as the first 'First Dog' in four years, but the glory disappeared in just two months.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki admitted during a briefing on the 9th (local time) that "Major injured a person."
She explained, "Major had been adapting to the new environment, but the day before, he caused a minor injury to a stranger."
According to U.S. media including CNN, Major bit a Secret Service agent at the White House the day before and was sent to President Biden's home in Delaware.
White House correspondents also witnessed Major's belongings placed outside the White House.
Major is a German Shepherd breed adopted from an animal shelter. Major had previously caused a commotion as well. During Biden's president-elect period, he fractured his ankle while playing with Major. Nevertheless, President Biden defended Major and brought both dogs to the White House after the inauguration.
