According to Paseco, to explore the potential of the overseas market for window air conditioners, it introduced an initial shipment to Vietnam in November last year. Despite the market downturn, the window air conditioners received an explosive response locally, leading to successful orders for second and third additional shipments.
Riding this momentum, exports to Singapore were secured in March following Vietnam, and full-scale shipments are scheduled to begin in May.
Paseco established a dedicated overseas export team for window air conditioners and began promoting products to global markets. Export-related discussions are well underway in regions including Chile, Australia, and the Middle East, such as Iraq.
Previously, Paseco had secured high recognition in overseas markets, having received a $50 million export tower award in the early 2000s. The company explained that increased trust in Korean products, boosted by the K-quarantine efforts, also contributed to gaining a competitive edge over low-priced Chinese products.

A Paseco representative stated, "Although the products are fully manufactured in Korea and priced more than twice as high as low-cost Chinese products, they have received favorable reviews locally in terms of performance, quality, and design, leading to additional orders. Having confirmed our competitiveness in overseas markets, we plan to actively accelerate securing export volumes and expanding export countries."
