Muan-gun Operates COVID-19 Vaccination Call Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 6th that it will operate a COVID-19 vaccine call center where residents can report adverse reactions after vaccination to resolve their questions and minimize inconveniences related to the COVID-19 vaccine.
The call center handles civil complaint calls such as vaccination schedule guidance, confirmation and reporting methods for adverse reactions after vaccination, and operates daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition, it maintains a 24-hour emergency contact hotline in cooperation with the Jeollanam-do Severe Adverse Reaction Rapid Response Team and the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency to prepare for emergency situations.

A Muan-gun official stated, “Symptoms such as pain at the injection site, mild fever, muscle pain, and other cold-like symptoms disappear after 2 to 3 days, but if there are adverse reactions such as facial paralysis, systemic allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, swelling of the mucous membranes around the eyes or mouth, swelling of the throat or uvula, or a high fever above 39 degrees Celsius, you should immediately report to the call center and seek medical assistance.”
