This challenge is a campaign to express gratitude and support to essential workers who inevitably perform face-to-face labor during the COVID-19 pandemic, including healthcare, social welfare, care services, and sanitation workers.
Park Gyeom-su, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, said, "Behind the maintenance of our safe daily lives despite the risk of COVID-19 infection lies the dedication and sacrifice of essential workers," and added, "I thank the essential workers who are silently sweating on the front lines of society."
