HMM is expected to return to profitability in the first quarter of this year. Lee Han-jun, a representative from KTB Investment & Securities, explained, "Even excluding the base effect from COVID-19 last year, the cargo volume is higher than during the inventory restocking period in 2017," adding, "Strong demand and supply shortages are expected to continue throughout the first half of the year."
