Gyeongnam Office of Education Supports Purchase Costs for School Supplies for Students with Three or More Siblings
Support of 300,000 Won Per Person to Reduce Education Expenses
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education announced on the 24th that it will support the purchase of school admission preparation supplies for third and subsequent children in multi-child families to realize equal educational opportunities in schools.
About 8,000 multi-child students entering elementary, middle, high, and special schools will receive 300,000 KRW per person as admission support.
The support target is new students who are the third or later child among families raising three or more children by birth or adoption, and applications can be made to the school the student is entering.
Applications will be accepted in two rounds: the first application period is until March 12 after admission, with support provided at the end of March; the second application period is from March 15 to 31, with support planned for the end of April.
