Mokpo Catholic University Signs Agreement with Mokpo Cheongho Rotary Club for Regional Cooperation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] Mokpo Catholic University (President Kim Yong-woon) signed an agreement for regional coexistence with the Mokpo Cheongho Rotary Club of International Rotary District 3710 (President Seo Chang-ho) at 5 p.m. on the 23rd in the faculty meeting room.
The signing ceremony was attended by 15 people including Kim Yong-woon, president of Mokpo Catholic University, and Seo Chang-ho, president of the Mokpo Cheongho Rotary Club, who promised to work together as partners to create sustainable social shared value with the local community.
Through this agreement, both parties agreed to establish joint programs through an organic cooperation system and to strive to promote professional and systematic social contribution activities through broad exchanges and support of human and material resources of both organizations.
President Kim Yong-woon said, “Although the start is modest for the purpose of industry-academia cooperation, I hope to build a long-term and sustainable cooperation system and continue volunteer activities.”
President Seo Chang-ho stated, “Based on the Rotary spirit, which regards the ideal of service as the foundation of all valuable activities, we will do our best to protect vulnerable groups in the local community, practice neighborly love, and contribute to the local community to spread a culture of sharing.”
