Intromedic "Passed Suitability Test for Disinfectants and Disinfection Robots"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] IntroMedic, a developer of video diagnostic medical devices, announced on the 23rd that its disinfectant has passed the suitability test for disinfectants used in autonomous disinfection robots by Exa Robotics, a company specializing in AI autonomous driving robots.
With the completion of the suitability test for disinfectants used in disinfection robots, IntroMedic and Exa Robotics plan to promote the supply of disinfectants for disinfection robots.
Kwon Hyukchan, CEO of IntroMedic, said, "Passing the final suitability test for Exa Robotics' disinfectant has raised expectations for expanding distribution channels for disinfectants such as autonomous disinfection robots." He added, "With social distancing adjustments due to the spread of COVID-19 approaching, demand for disinfection and sterilization in group facilities and multi-use facilities is rapidly increasing."
IntroMedic plans to actively sell the disinfectant. IntroMedic has secured exclusive domestic distribution rights for the disinfectant produced by Sweden's LifeClean International AB.

This surface disinfectant has received the highest rating from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is recognized by the European SSI (Statens Serum Institut). It uses chlorine dioxide (ClO2), known to inactivate coronaviruses, as its main ingredient. It is preservative-free, non-toxic, and has antiviral functions, capable of killing 99.9% of various viruses and bacteria within 2 minutes.
