The Smart Water City is a project that collaborates with private development projects to build an intelligent water management system by integrating ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and IoT (Internet of Things).
Once the system is established, it will go beyond the simple water supply level of tap water infrastructure and enable rapid response to civil complaints through real-time monitoring of water quantity and quality.
In addition, based on water usage statistics, it can be utilized for various purposes such as strengthening social safety net services, which, according to Gimhae City, is expected not only to advance water administration but also to increase the value of the land involved.
Currently, the Jangyu Naedeok District urban development project has signed an agreement to actively participate in the Smart Water City pilot project. Gimhae City plans to finalize the details of the pilot project by signing additional agreements with 3 to 5 large-scale business sites within this year.
