Twitter recently analyzed tweet data from 2020 and released rankings across various categories. BTS claimed first place in the '2020 Most Tweeted About Musicians in the US,' surpassing many prominent artists.
The US business magazine Forbes highlighted BTS's Twitter achievements in a recent report, stating, "It is impressive that BTS overwhelmed many stars better known than them in the US on Twitter, but it is not surprising to those who have witnessed the rapid rise of this Korean boy band (BTS)." The American music magazine Rolling Stone also covered the news extensively, saying, "BTS topped the charts as the king of Twitter, surpassing Kanye West, Beyonce, and Drake."
Last year, BTS also ranked first as the 'Most Tweeted About K-pop Artist Worldwide,' and their Twitter account recorded first place for the fourth consecutive year in the 'Most Tweeted About Accounts Worldwide' category.
