bhc Chicken 'Haebaragi Volunteer Group' Conducts Eco-Friendly Volunteer Activities
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] The university student volunteer group ‘Haebaragi Volunteer Group,’ operated by bhc Chicken, has engaged in eco-friendly volunteer activities.
bhc Chicken announced on the 22nd that Team 2 of the 5th Haebaragi Volunteer Group conducted a volunteer activity on the 19th in the Eunpyeong District of Seoul, making and sharing Scandia Moss frames. This volunteer work was carried out as part of the ‘Making Moss Frames’ project organized by the welfare organization Sesangai.
Sesangai’s ‘Making Moss Frames’ project involves creating frames using discarded fairy tale books and Scandia Moss, a type of moss known for its air-purifying effects, and donating the completed frames to living facilities for vulnerable groups.
The volunteer group made moss frames by filling frame molds made from fairy tale book paper with Scandia Moss. Afterwards, they delivered the moss frames to the Eunpyeong Senior Welfare Center. Additionally, they provided the welfare center with protective masks and nutritional snacks.
Kim Donghan, Deputy Manager of the bhc Chicken Public Relations Team, said, “As interest in eco-friendliness continues to grow, it is meaningful that the volunteer group carried out eco-friendly volunteer activities that can be practiced in daily life. Going forward, bhc Chicken will actively support the volunteer group to continue volunteering on major social issues even in the untact era where face-to-face activities are difficult.”
